Introduction

Bachelor of Science with Education is a collaborative programme offered by the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education.
This degree is a combination of pedagogical courses and science content courses (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics).
The curriculum was recently revised to cater to the demand of a fast changing and challenging education system.
Students will be trained to acquire strong fundamental knowledge of science and mathematics; as well as being exposed to the pedagogical content knowledge.
Since the recent curriculum revision, the improved program now prepares graduates not only to become teachers in public schools but also in private schools up to the pre-university level of education.
The exposure to the deep fundamental knowledge of science and mathematics enables graduates to further their studies at the postgraduate level not only in education, but also in Science and Mathematics.
The academic program follows the semester system and commences in October (Semester I) and March (Semester II).
Duration: 4 years
Total credits: 134 hours
